Cosmeston Medieval Village

Cosmeston Medieval Village

Cosmeston Medieval Village is a "living history" medieval village, based upon remains discovered during a 1980s archaeological dig in the grounds of Cosmeston Lakes Country Park. Visitors can experience a re-creation of 14th century peasant life in Wales in the Late Middle Ages, and meet the villagers who "live" there - in the form of skilled re-enactors who bring the village to life.

However, some visitors have claimed to encounter real villagers from the past. Witnesses have reported the feeling of someone standing next to them, but on turning to speak discover that nobody is there. Staff have seen two figures approaching the spot where the manor house once stood. These two figures disappeared suddently.
